Forgot your password?
There is no reset email (the desk has no mail service), so the person running the server resets it. On the server, run:
npm run reset-password -- you@example.com
With Docker: docker compose exec web npm run reset-password -- you@example.com. It prints a new password and signs you out everywhere. Sign in, then change it under Account.
On a host with no shell (Render and similar): set HELIOS_RESET_EMAIL and HELIOS_RESET_PASSWORD (10+ characters) in the service environment and redeploy. Remove both afterwards.
Passwords are hashed with scrypt and never stored in clear.
Not ready? The desk also runs a paper-only browser version without an account; it stops when you close the tab.
